Welcome to Make Medieval Crossbow! Let me guess, you are trying to learn how to make a cool, historically accurate, crossbow? Well, you have come to the right place. We are in the process of launching a site dedicated to plans and blueprints of historically important crossbow designs so you can build them yourself. We ended up grabbing this domain name before our content was complete, so please be patient with us. In the mean time, we thought it would be useful to include a few reviews of other sites that you might find interesting. They are not all crossbow related, but they are in the same area of interest, we hope. For example, if you want to learn how to build a potato cannon (otherwise known as potato guns, spud guns and potato launchers) or if you want to build a catapult, or if you want to build a crossbow, please read on and check out these cool sites we found! If you want to send us any ideas or suggestions, please email

www.DiyPotatoCannons.com is a website we just found! What do you get when you cross some PVC pipe with a bag of potatoes? That’s right, a whole lot of fun! This website sells downloadable plans for a great diy potato cannon project. Their plans are only $4.99, and the project is well worth it. Maybe you are interested in seeing physics applied first hand or maybe you are interested in weekend diy projects, either way, for less than five bucks, this website is a no-brainer. They have some great pictures and testimonials to give you an idea about what you will be building. The entire assembly comes from parts you buy at a local hardware store of home improvement center, and it only takes a few hours to put it all together. The plans are $4.99 and they include a shopping list, step-by-step instructions, and tons of assembly pictures to show you exactly what needs to be done. Of course, it is a potato cannon, so you have to be careful as well. So, make sure you follow all of their safety guidelines. Check out the website and let us know what you think. I’d be surprised if you are not a little bit excited about the potato cannon they have, and I’d also be surprised if you are not impressed by how far your cannon will fire the potato. Check out the website, download your plans for less than five bucks, be safe, and have a lot of fun with you new potato cannon… it’s going to be a “blast”!
